This Rest & Rebalance weekend retreat is an invitation to slow right down. Across the weekend you will be guided through nourishing practices designed to restore balance to body and mind, with gentle, therapeutic movement, grounding breathwork, restorative rest and nourishing food.
A space to simply be. Expect cosy surroundings, seasonal rituals and plenty of time to unplug, reflect and reset your energy as the days turn cooler and the festive season draws closer.
This retreat is ideal if you’re feeling stretched, overstimulated or in need of a pause — a chance to recalibrate, replenish and return home feeling steadier, calmer and quietly renewed.

Paula from Natural Balance Kitchen will tailor all of our meals to complement our theme. You can expect nourishing, gut healing wholefoods, freshly pressed juices and energising, nutritious snacks. Paula says “When I cook, I don’t just feed people, I hold space for healing, connection and balance. Each retreat is unique and so is the food. I will design a menu that aligns with the retreat’s theme and energy. From vibrant Buddha bowls and earthy root-based stews to restorative herbal teas and energising juices, everything is crafted to enhance the experience.”

A shared twin £450 per person (Early Bird £400)
A shared triple £430 (Early Bird £380)
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your place (£150 for a single). Various payment plans are available so please do get in touch to discuss what works best for you.
The venue:
Haybergill is a purpose-built retreat centre located in Cumbria between Appleby and Kirkby Stephen in the picturesque Upper Eden Valley. Within the North Pennines area of outstanding natural beauty with breath-taking views all around and within touching distance of the Lake District, Teesdale and the Yorkshire Dales. The Centre connects easily to the A66 and there is quick, direct access to the A1 and M6 motorways. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester and Liverpool are all reached in 2 hours or less by road. Appleby railway station is a few minutes drive.
Within Eden Valley there are many walks, cycle routes, places of interest, market towns and unspoilt villages with tea shops and pubs. For the bird and nature lovers we are close to Smardale Nature Reserve, Orton Scar and Sunbiggin Tarn. The historic market towns of Appelby and Kirkby Stephen are close by. Barnard Castle, Richmond, Penrith and Ullswater are scenic drives away. Lowther Castle with its falconry centre, gardens, walks and courtyard café also makes a worthwhile visit.
